Even though it was the Stones’ 23rd British studio album, Blue & Lonesome is their first to feature only cover songs. It was awarded the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album in 2018.
The album identity features a blue version of the iconic red tongue and lips logo, which first appeared on Sticky Fingers.
