Works of Applause
Sophy Hollington’s reimagining of Dante’s Inferno
This month, we're in awe of linocut artist Sophy Hollington's interpretation of Dante’s Inferno, which revitalises the 700-year-old classic. Her unique imagery blends medieval folklore with vibrant pop art, making the underworld appear more sublime than ever. Drawing inspiration from past artists like William Blake and Gustave Doré, as well as earlier works by Italian painter Priamo della Quercia, Hollington captures the essence of Dante’s narrative in a fresh and captivating way.
Black Moon Concept
We've been enjoying this packaging concept for Black Moon because it perfectly captures the spirit of this bold Samogon (a highly alcoholic homemade spirit from Russia).
Inspired by the legend of Baba Yaga, the enigmatic witch of the forest who embodies both danger and wisdom, the design evokes the raw charm of old bootlegging taverns. The bottle features a vivid, intricate illustration of Baba Yaga with gold foil highlights. This fusion of folklore and rustic elegance mirrors the untamed spirit of Black Moon.
HEIKOFOUR reimagines Radiohead album covers
Recently we came across the artist HEIKOFOUR who has reimagined iconic Radiohead album covers using only artwork by Stanley Donwood, the band's long-time visual collaborator. Inspired by a love for both Radiohead and Donwood’s aesthetics, HEIKOFOUR exclusively works with imagery from album packaging, promotional materials, and Donwood’s paintings, creating fresh interpretations while staying true to the original style.

Creative Appreciation
Sophy Hollington
We really admire the illustration work of Sophy Hollington (especially the upcoming reimagining of Dante's Inferno). She specialises in linocutting, a lengthy relief printmaking process that gives her pieces a distinctive quality. Hollington weaves arcane and folkloric elements into intricate, symbolically rich compositions that balance the feel of archaic objects with futuristic visions. Her unique style and captivating narratives truly set her work apart, making it a pleasure to showcase.

Jeff Hahn
We’re liking the work of photographer Jeff Hahn, a London-based artist originally from Hong Kong. He creates well-lit editorial and commercial portraiture, featuring saturated tones and off-beat expressions that bring a unique energy to his subjects. His impressive portfolio includes collaborations with brands like Adidas, Carhartt, Mr Porter, and publications such as Dazed and i-D magazine. We especially like his recent work for Who What Wear featuring Mabel.
